How Colorado Barricade collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Introduction

Colorado Barricade (“Colorado Barricade”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website at coloradobarricade.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use and disclose it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the Site and to the enquiries, quote requests, and job applications you submit through it.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.

2. Definitions

  • Personal Information — information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with you, such as your name, email address, telephone number, or employer.
  • Usage Data — information collected automatically by the operation of the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the time and date of your visit.
  • Cookies — small files placed on your device by a website, used to remember information about your visit.
  • Service Provider — a company we engage to perform a service on our behalf, such as hosting the Site or delivering our email.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us.

When you contact us, request a quote, or apply for a position through the Site, we collect the information you choose to submit. This typically includes your name, email address, telephone number, company or organisation, and any details you provide about your project or your application. You are not required to create an account to browse the Site.

Information collected automatically.

When you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically records Usage Data as described above. We use this to operate and secure the Site, to diagnose technical problems, and to protect against fraud and abuse.

Cookies and similar technologies.

We use cookies for two purposes. Essential cookies are necessary for the Site to function — for example, to submit a form securely; the Site cannot operate properly without them.Analytics cookies help us understand how the Site is used so that we can improve it. You may refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, though blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working.

4. How We Use Your Information

5. Retention of Information

We retain enquiry and quote information for as long as necessary to serve you and to satisfy our legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations, after which we delete it. Job applications are retained for the duration of the hiring process and for a reasonable period afterwards. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except where it is used to strengthen the security or improve the functionality of the Site.

6. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell your Personal Information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising or targeted advertising.We do not use advertising or remarketing pixels on this Site. We disclose your information only as follows:

  • To Service Providers, who process it solely to provide their service to us (see section 7).
  • To our affiliated companies within the Moeris USA group, where necessary to respond to you or to perform the services you requested.
  • For legal reasons, where we are required to do so by law or valid legal process, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • In a business transfer, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We will provide notice before your Personal Information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

7. Service Providers

We engage third parties to host the Site, to deliver email, to store form submissions, and to provide analytics. These Service Providers have access to your Personal Information only to perform those tasks on our behalf, and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

8. Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you view and how you arrived at the Site, and shares that information with Google. We use it to measure and improve the Site, not to advertise to you.

9. Security of Information

We take commercially reasonable measures to protect your Personal Information, including serving the Site over an encrypted connection. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Please do not transmit sensitive information — such as payment card details, bank account numbers, or government identification numbers — through the Site’s forms.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights in respect of your Personal Information:

  • Right to know and access — to confirm whether we process your Personal Information and to obtain a copy of it.
  • Right to correct — to have inaccurate Personal Information corrected.
  • Right to delete — to request that we delete Personal Information we have collected from you.
  • Right to opt out — of the sale or sharing of Personal Information, and of targeted advertising. As stated above, we do not sell or share Personal Information, and we do not conduct targeted advertising.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide you a different quality of service because you exercised any of these rights.

These rights are afforded to residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Colorado (Colorado Privacy Act),Virginia (Consumer Data Protection Act),California (California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended), andWashington. You may exercise them free of charge, and you may use an authorised agent to do so.

If we decline your request, you may appeal that decision by replying to our response.

11. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no industry standard for how to respond to it, and the Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. Where required by law, we honour recognised opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).

12. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and for adults seeking our services or employment. It is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Links to Other Sites

The Site contains links to websites that we do not operate — for example those of industry associations, partners, and suppliers. This policy does not apply to those websites, and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date at the top. Where the change is material, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
